Integration courses
Integration is about more than language alone. Everyday life, culture, orientation and career prospects are closely connected and often develop in parallel. LECTOR therefore takes a holistic approach to integration and helps participants become more confident in German and in society.
The general integration course is the most common type of integration course. It combines German language lessons with an orientation course and helps participants build the language skills they need for everyday life, society and their next professional steps.
The course teaches the fundamentals of German and prepares learners for linguistic and cultural integration. The orientation course also covers life in Germany, the legal system, culture and history.
The literacy course is a special language course for immigrants who cannot read or write, have limited literacy skills or first need to learn the Latin alphabet.
The aim is to learn German and become literate in the Latin script. Participants are gradually introduced to reading, writing and using German in everyday life.
The advanced and refresher course is intended for learners with advanced skills and for people who did not pass an examination and would like to prepare specifically for another attempt.
The course expands on and reinforces the content of the basic language course, consolidating existing knowledge and helping learners overcome remaining language difficulties.
In the orientation course, participants learn about German culture, history and the legal system. They gain important knowledge about life in Germany, the democratic system and fundamental values.
The orientation course ends with a test and complements the language course with social and cultural content.
German for work and business
In addition to integration courses, LECTOR offers German courses for professional goals and for companies. These programmes are designed for people who want to improve their language skills specifically for work, training or everyday professional life.
Vocational language courses from A1 to C1
Vocational language courses combine language learning with the requirements of the labour market. They help participants develop their German for everyday working life and improve their career prospects.
Depending on the learner’s current level, LECTOR offers special modules from A1 to A2 and A2 to B1, as well as basic modules from B1 to B2 and B2 to C1.
Company language courses
Company language courses help businesses improve their employees’ German language skills in a targeted way. The courses can make workplace communication easier, improve understanding of processes and build confidence when using German in a professional environment.
